Made in Hackney Volunteers
Cargo bike riders delivered up-to 70 meals a day, Monday to Saturday in March April and June 2020.
Made in Hackney along with Angelinas Restaurant, started a crowd funder to make and deliver food to people in Hackney who needed, during the first part of lockdown.
Volunteers accompany cargo riders to help them out. All they need is a bike and to be able to use it.
Volunteer, Gemma is a freelance copywriter who is able to work from home during the pandemic.
